Even at 41, Luka Modric is Milan’s best player by a country mile

Writer Hridyam Arora argues that former Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is currently AC Milan's best player despite being 41 years old. Arora highlights the Croatian midfielder's impressive performances in Italy, stating that his ability to control matches demonstrates that he remains at the top of his game even in the latter stages of his career.

Statistically, Modric ranks second in Italy with 10.4 completed long balls per match and bypasses 13.4 players per game through passes. Although not starting every match, Modric has started five of Milan's nine fixtures and continues to play substantial minutes, prompting Arora to praise his unprecedented longevity among all-time great midfielders.
