Ryan Leonard and Cole Hutson mostly fail to scare teammates in Capitals’ Halloween prank

Washington Capitals youngsters Ryan Leonard and Cole Hutson continued a team Halloween prank tradition by dressing in clown and zombie masks to ambush teammates arriving at the rink. Several veteran players were completely unfazed by the stunt, with Alex Tuch bluntly criticizing Hutson's attempt and Dylan Strome celebrating that he avoided falling for the trick this year.

Despite early failures against teammates like Jakob Chychrun and Dylan McIlrath, Leonard eventually startled a few players. Timothy Liljegren and Pierre-Luc Dubois were visibly caught off guard, while Aliaksei Protas briefly cowered before Leonard embraced him, and Justin Sourdif checked his racing pulse after the surprise.
