Spurs sold Kane to Bayern Munich for a £100m total fee in 2023…

Tottenham Hotspur will not receive an additional payout following Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or victory because a clause for the award was not included in his transfer to Bayern Munich. The England striker won the prestigious individual honor ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal after scoring 73 goals for club and country during the 2025/26 campaign.
Kane moved to Bayern in summer 2023 for an initial £86 million fee with £14 million in potential add-ons. While Spurs do not benefit financially from his Ballon d'Or triumph, the club has likely earned bonuses linked to his domestic silverware in Germany.
