The Story in 60 Seconds

Two parents were arrested following a violent altercation at a youth softball game in Sugar Land, Texas, over the weekend. Kiarious Marshun Hall and his wife Jazmine Hall were taken into custody after a dispute over cheering during an opposing team's at-bats escalated into physical violence. Kiarious Hall was charged with assault causing bodily injury and booked into Fort Bend County Jail alongside his wife, who subsequently resigned as an assistant junior high principal.

According to charging documents and video footage, Kiarious Hall reportedly struck another father with a metal water bottle, leaving him hospitalized with a fractured skull, broken jaw, and brain bleeds. Hall also scuffled with Gary Greaser, a player's grandfather who suffered a broken hip. While Hall claimed he acted in self-defense, Greaser stated that Hall became aggressive after being asked to stop disruptive cheering.
