I played alongside Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero – it’s clear who was the best

Former Manchester United and Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez has chosen Wayne Rooney over Sergio Aguero as his best strike partner. Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents channel, the Argentine explained that while both players were different, Rooney was his favorite partner to play alongside. Ferdinand noted that Rooney had also previously cited Tevez as his own favorite partner in attack.

Tevez recalled his successful time at Old Trafford playing under Sir Alex Ferguson alongside Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, noting that Ferguson gave the front three immense freedom without rigid instructions. Across his two-year spell with United, Tevez won two Premier League titles and the Champions League before departing for City in 2009.
