The Minnesota Vikings opened Lions week with one new name on the injury report. Worse yet, it's replacement left guard, Joe Huber.

Minnesota Vikings starting left guard Joe Huber missed practice on Wednesday due to knee soreness ahead of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Kevin O'Connell announced that Huber and running back Aaron Jones both sat out the session, though O'Connell indicated the team is not overly concerned about Huber's status.
Huber stepped into the starting lineup after Donovan Jackson suffered a torn meniscus and landed on injured reserve earlier this month. The Vikings enter Week 8 with a 6-0 record, while Jones remains day to day after aggravating an ongoing left knee injury.
