The Story in 60 Seconds

Manchester City and Chelsea are among several European clubs monitoring Ajax attacking midfielder Abdellah Ouazane, according to reports. Juventus and Real Madrid are also reportedly pursuing the 17-year-old talent. While Ajax aims to extend his contract beyond 2028 when he turns 18, talks have stalled over alleged excessive wage demands, prompting sporting director Jordi Cruyff to reconsider an extension.

Ouazane joined Ajax's academy in 2016 and made his senior debut last December, scoring three Conference League goals across 18 appearances. The Moroccan international primarily operates as a left winger or attacking midfielder, positions where Manchester City already possesses significant first-team depth.
