Head coach Shane Steichen announced his confidence in the rookie on Wednesday as the Colts prepare to play the Jacksonville Jaguars on November 1.

Indianapolis traded Nelson for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round selection amid an organizational reset that included firing general manager Chris Ballard.
