Jerry Jones is drawing attention away from AT&T Stadium. The timing coincides with the Cowboys’ worst start in years, drawing scrutiny to Jones’ off-field priorities. He has plenty to worry about with a Cowboys team sitting at 3-4 heading into…

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has donated roughly $1.56 million during the current midterm election cycle, primarily supporting Republican candidates and political action committees, according to Federal Election Commission data reviewed by Front Office Sports. His contributions include $1 million directed to Donald Trump's MAGA Inc. and around $500,000 distributed across Texas races, notably including $250,000 to back Ken Paxton.
The political expenditures coincide with a difficult 3-4 start for the Cowboys, who recently halted a losing skid by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21. While Jones also contributed $10 million to the Clinton Foundation earlier in October, he has expressed skepticism about completing further major roster trades ahead of the deadline following the acquisition of cornerback Joey Porter Jr.
