Gloucester Rugby have announced that they have won their tug-of-war with Leicester Tigers and have persuaded England international Seb Atkinson to put pen to paper on a new deal at Kingsholm.

Gloucester Rugby have announced that England international Seb Atkinson has signed a new contract to remain at Kingsholm until 2029. The 24-year-old inside centre had been the target of a transfer pursuit by Leicester Tigers, but chose to commit his future to Gloucester by signing a fresh two-year contract extension.
Atkinson, who has earned seven caps for England and was recently named in Steve Borthwick's Nations Championship squad, previously claimed Gloucester's Player of the Year honors in 2024 and 2026. Head coach George Skivington described the re-signing of the former Worcester Warriors player as a significant milestone for the club.
