A new trade deadline rumor offers an intriguing Dallas Cowboys pass rush option to target. However, there is one major issue.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero suggests the Miami Dolphins could draw significant interest for edge rusher Chop Robinson, presenting an intriguing trade target for the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas desperately needs defensive reinforcements as they enter Week 8 tied for last in the NFL with only seven team sacks. While the Cowboys have frequently been linked to Arizona Cardinals defensive end Josh Sweat, Robinson offers a younger and more cap-friendly alternative.
However, Pelissero notes that acquiring the 23-year-old pass rusher would not come cheap because Miami is reluctant to give away young talent. Robinson is under contract for next season at $4.7 million with a fifth-year option, making a potential trade difficult despite Miami's ongoing rebuild under head coach Jeff Hafley.
