Nikola Jokic looked great in the Nuggets' win over the Pelicans. And he didn't need a three-point shot to do it.

Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a 104-91 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans by focusing his offense inside the paint. Jokic recorded his 200th career triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists on 8-for-13 shooting, taking exclusively two-point attempts.
Writer David Decker argues that ditching three-pointers revitalized Jokic's performance, noting that seven of his eight field goals came in the paint. Decker points out that Jokic had been struggling from beyond the arc since returning from last season's knee injury.
