The 48-year-old victim was knocked to the ground as he was trying to board a Celtic supporters’ bus…

Three men have been sentenced to prison following a violent assault outside Ibrox stadium that left a 48-year-old Celtic fan with bleeding on the brain. The incident occurred on March 8 after Celtic defeated Rangers 4-2 on penalties in a Scottish Cup quarter-final. The attackers knocked the victim to the ground as he attempted to board a supporters' bus, then proceeded to repeatedly kick and stamp on his head and body while shouting religious abuse.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, Scott Dragsness received an 18-month prison sentence, while Ben Stanex and Andrew Graham were each sentenced to 12 months. All three men, who previously pleaded guilty to assault to severe injury and danger of life, were also issued seven-year football banning orders covering all UK football grounds.
