Former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry stated she threw a drink at a fan during an Oct. 21 Washington Wizards game against the Milwaukee Bucks to defend herself. McHenry alleged a spectator made a sexually violent threat toward her after she confronted him for disparaging Winnie Harlow, fiancée of Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma.
Viral video from Capital One Arena showed drinks thrown and fans heckling McHenry before security escorted her toward an exit. Following the confrontation, McHenry reportedly resigned from her role as a press adviser with the U.S. Department of State.
