Ollie Bearman admits the decision over his F1 future with Haas is "not really in my hands".

Ollie Bearman revealed ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix that the decision regarding his Formula 1 future with Haas for the 2027 season is not in his hands. Although remaining with Haas is considered a formality, the 21-year-old British driver stated that both parties are still finalizing background details. Bearman emphasized that his clear goal is to stay with the team for a third consecutive season.
Because Bearman is contracted directly to Ferrari, the Italian team ultimately controls his future. Haas previously announced fellow Ferrari junior Rafael Camara for 2027 on October 15, with team principal Ayao Komatsu expecting Bearman's confirmation soon after. The delayed announcement comes as both drivers are viewed as potential long-term contenders for a future Ferrari seat once Lewis Hamilton retires.
