New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown missed Thursday's practice due to ankle and knee issues ahead of Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that Brown experienced a knee flare-up, leaving his game status uncertain. Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson also sat out Thursday due to an illness, though neither player has officially been ruled out.
Miami head coach Jeff Hafley confirmed the Dolphins are still preparing for Brown, citing his downfield threat and strength. Meanwhile, Dolphins cornerback JuJu Brents returned to practice in a limited capacity while progressing through concussion protocol, though offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor remained sidelined. Both quarterbacks, Miami's Malik Willis and New England's Drake Maye, practiced fully on Thursday.
