Borussia Dortmund manager Niko Kovač has sent well wishes to Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany, wishing him a speedy recovery. Kompany collapsed on Friday at Säbener Straße following a first-team training session, having previously battled an infection and hip issues. Kovač expressed his support ahead of Dortmund's 1-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kovač noted that Kompany needs calm and quiet time to recuperate from the demanding role. Kompany faces proper rest following the medical event and could potentially miss the upcoming Der Klassiker clash against Borussia Dortmund at the end of the month.
