The Trail Blazers recalled Yang Hansen before Thursday’s Grizzlies matchup, bringing the young center back one day after his G League assignment.

The Portland Trail Blazers announced on October 29 that they recalled second-year center Yang Hansen from their NBA G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix. The move came just one day after he was assigned to the affiliate following a win over the Los Angeles Lakers, returning him to the active roster ahead of their matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Hansen did not play a game for the Remix because their season does not begin until November 10. In addition to the recall, the organization announced it exercised its 2027-28 team contract options on both Hansen and fellow center Donovan Clingan.
