Quenton Nelson discussed the "bittersweet" nature of being traded away from Indianapolis, his home for eight seasons, and the exciting opportunity in front of him with the Seahawks…
Guard Quenton Nelson expressed excitement about joining the Seattle Seahawks following a trade from the Indianapolis Colts. The eight-time Pro Bowler spent eight seasons in Indianapolis before being acquired by Seattle. Nelson described the move as bittersweet due to his relationships with the Colts, but noted that he is thrilled to join the defending Super Bowl champions.
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed Nelson will start at left guard, moving Grey Zabel to right guard while Anthony Bradford shifts to a reserve role. Nelson worked late with center Jalen Sundell to quickly learn offensive protections and terminology ahead of Monday night's matchup against the Chicago Bears.
