The Rays were smashed in five games as the Brewers won their first World Series, and Taylor Walls didn’t want to hear about levels.

Tampa Bay Rays infielder Taylor Walls called a question from reporter Ken Rosenthal "pretty disrespectful" following Game 4 of the World Series. After the Rays avoided a sweep with a 4-3 extra-inning win over the Milwaukee Brewers, Rosenthal asked if winning was important just to show they were on that level, prompting an immediate pushback from Walls and an apology from Rosenthal.
The Brewers went on to win their first World Series by defeating the Rays in five games. Tampa Bay struggled offensively throughout the matchup, scoring just 11 total runs, while Walls batted .103 across 39 postseason at-bats and manager Kevin Cash faced scrutiny for starting pitcher Drew Rasmussen on short rest in Game 5.
