The Story in 60 Seconds

Mark Tyler and analyst Grant Mitchell evaluated Washington Commanders general manager Adam Peters' 2024 draft class, awarding it an overall grade of C-minus. The analysts reviewed the class more than two seasons after the draft, concluding that while first-round quarterback Jayden Daniels was a successful selection, the rest of the group has largely underperformed.

Tyler noted that out of six top-100 draft picks, only Daniels has developed into a quality starter. The remaining selections, including second-rounders Jer’Zhan Newton, Mike Sainristil, and Ben Sinnott, were graded as backups or poor picks, while fifth-round selection Dominique Hampton was released from the roster.
