West Ham United defender Konstantinos Mavropanos could return from injury before the November international break following positive scan results. The Greece international suffered a knee injury during Saturday's 3-2 Championship defeat to Southampton, but assessments indicate the problem is not as serious as initially feared.
While earlier reports raised concerns of a lengthy absence lasting weeks or months, manager Nuno Espírito Santo now faces a shorter layoff for the player. The 28-year-old, who has scored five Championship goals this season, could potentially feature against Blackburn or return after the break against Preston North End on November 21.
