Robert Thomas and Philip Broberg each recorded a goal and two assists to propel the St. Louis Blues to a 4-1 victory over the Boston Bruins on Thursday night. The win snapped a six-game home winless streak against Boston dating back to the 2019 Stanley Cup Final. Jimmy Snuggerud and Jake Neighbours also scored for St. Louis, while goaltender Joel Hofer made 31 saves.
James Hagens opened the scoring for Boston in the first period before Snuggerud tied the game on a power play, ending a 138-minute scoring drought for the Blues. Broberg and Thomas added second-period goals to establish a 3-1 lead, followed by Neighbours' third-period power-play marker. Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman stopped 14 shots in the loss.
