The Los Angeles Dodgers could've won their third straight World Series title, but the Milwaukee Brewers are hoisting the trophy instead.

Pat Ragazzo of Dodgers Way argues that the Tampa Bay Rays' weak World Series display makes the Los Angeles Dodgers' NLCS exit against the Milwaukee Brewers more frustrating. After being swept in four games by the eventual champion Brewers, the Dodgers missed an opportunity to capture a third consecutive title against a Rays team that lost the Fall Classic in five games.
Ragazzo contends Los Angeles likely could have defeated Tampa Bay, who scored just 12 runs throughout the World Series. However, the writer notes that the Dodgers' own offense struggled against Milwaukee, scoring only 11 runs while designated hitter Shohei Ohtani played through biceps and knee injuries.
