Four medals and a crystal trophy were taken from the display, according to German media.

The Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation confirmed that items honoring victims of the 1958 air crash were stolen from a memorial at Manchesterplatz in Munich. Munich police reported that a glass display case was smashed with a stone on Monday between 08:00 and 13:00 local time. The memorial marks the crash that killed 23 people, including eight Manchester United players.
Stolen objects included several medals and a glass sculpture originally presented to Munich's former mayor, Dieter Reiter. Red Docs Munich, a Bayern Munich supporters' group that helps maintain the site, replaced the broken glass the same day, while the foundation covered the repair costs.
