The New York Jets may be without rookie pass rusher David Bailey in Week 8 due to his groin injury keeping him sidelined at practice.

New York Jets rookie edge rusher David Bailey is uncertain for Week 8 after missing a second straight practice due to a groin injury. Bailey, the No. 2 overall draft pick, faces long odds to suit up against Kirk Cousins and the Las Vegas Raiders. His potential absence adds to significant defensive line injuries, with defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat also likely sidelined by a knee issue.
Bailey has recorded 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles across seven games this season. If he is unavailable, Will McDonald and Kingsley Enagbare are projected to start on the edge, while Nate Lynn could also see an expanded pass-rushing role.
