The Vancouver Canucks are reportedly interested in acquiring Washington Capitals forward Ivan Miroshnichenko via trade, according to Daily Faceoff Insider David Pagnotta. Several Western Conference teams, including the Seattle Kraken, Los Angeles Kings, and Calgary Flames, are also reportedly monitoring the 22-year-old Russian winger, prompting suggestions that Vancouver may aim to act quickly.
Miroshnichenko has struggled to secure regular playing time in Washington following offseason additions, suiting up in only three of 11 games this season. In 55 career NHL games, he has recorded 14 points, while tallying 101 points across 141 games with the AHL Hershey Bears.
