The Story in 60 Seconds

Conor Ryan writes that Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm may need to reshuffle his top forward lines following an 0-2 road trip. The road trip concluded with a 4-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues after a 2-1 defeat against the Carolina Hurricanes. While Boston's third line has performed well, the top-six group has struggled to generate consistent offense at 5-on-5.

Sturm briefly altered the combinations in the third period against St. Louis and indicated that recent sloppy play caught up to the team. Ryan suggests Sturm could reunite JJ Peterka or David Pastrnak with young forwards Fraser Minten and Marat Khusnutdinov ahead of Saturday's matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks at TD Garden.
