After his strong showing on Wednesday, the Lakers were urged to remain committed on going after Derrick Jones Jr. as a top trade target.
Analysts and reporters are urging the Los Angeles Lakers to pursue a trade for Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. to address their wing depth. Jones delivered strong defensive performances against the Lakers in recent matchups, leading analysts Svyatoslav Rovenchuk and Maxwell Ogden to view him as an ideal 3-and-D target.
Jones is in the final year of his contract and previously played alongside Luka Doncic. The Athletic's Dan Woike noted the Lakers would likely be interested if the Clippers make Jones available, with Heavy suggesting potential trade packages involving Jarred Vanderbilt.
