Jarred Vanderbilt finally got his shot at being in the Lakers' rotation.

Jarred Vanderbilt delivered an impactful season debut Wednesday to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Los Angeles Clippers at Intuit Dome. After not playing in the team's first four games of the season, the veteran forward provided vital energy, defense, and rebounding to help head coach JJ Redick's squad bounce back from a loss to the Trail Blazers.
Vanderbilt recorded seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes, finishing with a team-best plus-22 rating. Teammates Collin Sexton and Grimes praised his preparation and professionalism, while the performance could earn him extended playing time alongside frontcourt partner Sandro Mamukelashvili.
