Ten players are vying for wing places in the 33-man squad for next year's World Cup.

Paul Lewis argues that wing has become the most competitive position in the All Blacks squad ahead of the upcoming World Cup year. With coach Dave Rennie reducing squad sizes to 33 players for the tournament, as many as 10 potential contenders are battling for only four or five outside back spots.
The writer notes that Will Jordan appears to be the only certain selection, while players like Caleb Clarke, Fehi Fineanganofo, and Chay Fihaki must prove themselves. Lewis adds that aerial skills, positional versatility, and extreme pace will be vital selection factors under Rennie's attacking strategy.
