The Buffalo Bills need a starting safety for their November 1 home game against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, and they're turning to resilient veteran Damar Hamlin.

Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady confirmed that safety Damar Hamlin will start against the Baltimore Ravens on November 1. Hamlin replaces starting safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, who is serving a one-game suspension for spitting at Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers on October 18.
The upcoming matchup marks Hamlin's 29th career start for Buffalo. The 28-year-old safety previously stepped in alongside Cole Bishop following Gardner-Johnson's Week 6 ejection, and he will now face a Baltimore offense led by returning quarterback Lamar Jackson.
