Philadelphia Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet's claim that Matvei Michkov has a secret agenda went too far.

Jess Amato argues that Philadelphia Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet was wrong to publicly criticize forward Matvei Michkov for playing with an agenda. Tocchet warned that he may cut ice time after Michkov remained on the ice during overtime against the Columbus Blue Jackets instead of changing lines.
Amato defends Michkov, pointing out that he has contributed nine goals and 11 points in 15 games. The writer contends that Michkov is doing everything possible to generate offense during the team's difficult start and should not be singled out by coaching staff.
