The 31-year-old is set for a return to Australia in 2027.

The Newcastle Knights have emerged as favorites to re-sign their former halfback Adam Clune. The 31-year-old playmaker is reportedly preparing for a return to Australia ahead of the 2027 season once his existing contract in the Super League concludes.
Clune previously played for the Hunter-based club and is expected to complete a move back to the NRL on a permanent basis following the conclusion of his overseas commitments.
