You can’t have shit in Toronto. The week Mayor Olivia Chow wins re-election and the Raptors smash the Orlando Magic by 30 points, Scottie Barnes scores a season high, career high 41 points, and it’s something nobody can celebrate, including…

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes expressed frustration after setting a career-high with 41 points in an NBA Cup group stage loss to the Orlando Magic. Barnes appeared somber postgame, admitting he could not celebrate the milestone and saying, "I'm raging on the inside." Barnes took only three free throws despite his aggressive, high-scoring performance.
Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic criticized the officiating, calling Barnes' lack of free-throw attempts "a little BS" after Orlando shot 29 free throws compared to Toronto's 15. The Raptors received secondary offensive contributions from Jakob Poeltl, Immanuel Quickley, Collin Murray Boyles, and rookie Allen Graves ahead of their upcoming road trip against the Los Angeles Lakers.
