The 33-year-old hooker came off in the first half.

Wests Tigers hooker Apisai Koroisau was taken to the hospital after suffering a suspected broken jaw during a Rugby League World Cup match for the Fiji Bati on October 31, 2026. The 33-year-old was forced off the field in the first half following high contact from an opposition defender.
The incident occurred when Koroisau was clipped across the head immediately after passing the ball. The injury raises serious concerns for both Fiji's tournament campaign and the Wests Tigers ahead of the upcoming NRL season.
