Rangers are set to face Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish League Cup semi-final on Saturday. The match kicks off at 5:30pm and will be broadcast live on Premier Sports 1. Rain is heavily forecast for the fixture, with the Met Office predicting up to an 80 percent chance of precipitation and temperatures around 12 to 13 degrees Celsius.
Rangers enter the clash unbeaten in their last seven meetings against Aberdeen, having won six of those fixtures. Their previous meeting this season ended in a 1-0 league win for Rangers following a Lawrence Shankland penalty. Aberdeen have not defeated Rangers since a 2-1 league victory in October 2024.
