Lazio and Serie A experienced contrasting regulatory outcomes with prediction-market platform Polymarket during the summer of 2026. Lazio terminated its two-year, approximately €19 million shirt sponsorship on August 11 after Italian regulators blocked the platform under strict domestic gambling advertising laws.
