Alexis Mac Allister has offered a fresh update about his Liverpool future ahead of his current contract expiring in 2028…

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has refused to rule out signing a contract extension, citing recent off-pitch leadership changes. Although his contract runs until 2028 and negotiations have not progressed since he voiced disappointment in September, the 27-year-old suggested that the return of sporting director Julian Ward and incoming minority investment from Amit Bhatia's 1892 Holdings group consortium could alter his situation.
Despite the ongoing contractual uncertainty, Mac Allister has excelled under new manager Andoni Iraola, registering four goals and an assist in 13 matches this season. The Argentine noted that tactical adjustments and clearer team structure have significantly improved his form compared to a difficult previous campaign under Arne Slot.
