Stormers boss John Dobson was forced into calling up a late replacement for Saturday's URC clash against Ulster at Cape Town Stadium.

Stormers hooker Bongi Mbonambi has been ruled out of Saturday's United Rugby Championship clash against Ulster at Cape Town Stadium due to a minor injury. Mbonambi, who recently signed a one-year deal after leaving the Sharks, had been scheduled to feature from the bench before being sidelined ahead of kick-off.
Head coach John Dobson called up Altus Rabe to take Mbonambi's spot on the bench for a potential debut. The withdrawal deepens the team's hooker shortage, with André-Hugo Venter, Deon Fourie, Lukhanyo Vokozela, Almero Keizer, and Luca Bakkes sidelined by injury, and JJ Kotzé serving a suspension.
