Goalkeeper Kieran Wright has joined Scottish Championship side Airdrieonians on a seven-day emergency loan deal from Heart of Midlothian. The 27-year-old shot-stopper makes the temporary move just two months after signing with the Tynecastle club in August, going straight into the squad to face Cove Rangers.
Wright previously spent 17 years at Rangers before leaving in the summer, during which he had a prior loan spell with Airdrie during the 2024/25 season. Hearts originally brought in the goalkeeper on terms running through January to bolster their squad depth for both domestic and European competitions.
