Chelsea XI vs Manchester United: Estevao in – starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest

Chelsea defeated Manchester United 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, adding immense pressure on visiting manager Michael Carrick. Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock with a brilliant finish before Cole Palmer converted a penalty to double the lead. The spot-kick was awarded after Lisandro Martinez committed a foul and was sent off following a VAR review, leaving United with ten men.

Estevao had two goals disallowed for offside during an impressive display for Xabi Alonso's side, while United substitute Bryan Mbeumo hit the crossbar late on. Despite the defeat, Manchester United's traveling supporters audibly chanted in support of Carrick as co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe watched on from the stands.
