Zalgiris Kaunas guard Carsen Edwards was reportedly caught driving while intoxicated in Kaunas, Lithuania, according to Krepsinis.net. Lithuanian Police confirmed that Edwards was stopped driving a Volkswagen Tiguan at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday during a preventive raid, registering a blood alcohol level of 1.07 per mille.
The incident took place just hours after Edwards scored 11 points in a 97-68 Lithuanian Basketball League victory over Lietkabelis. The 28-year-old former NBA guard is currently in his first season with Zalgiris, and the club has not yet issued a public comment.
