Willson Contreras talked out his post-Wild Card loss analytics comments with Boston Red Sox management.

Boston Red Sox catcher Willson Contreras confirmed that he held a constructive meeting with manager Chad Tracy and Chief Baseball Officer Craig Breslow following his criticism of the team's analytics usage. Contreras had voiced frustration about management relying excessively on data over veteran experience after Boston's Wild Card round elimination by the New York Yankees.
Speaking to The Boston Globe, Contreras noted that "things are in a good place" between him and the front office. BoSox Injection's Katie Manganelli argues that reaching common ground with Contreras is a positive step for Boston, while noting Contreras emphasized the need for more veteran talent next season.
