Skipper says he's relatively happy with how Australia is going despite 2-1 series loss to SA and losing four of their last seven Tests…

Australia captain Pat Cummins defended his team, stating he remains happy with their progress despite a 176-run series-losing defeat to South Africa in Cape Town. Chasing 288 runs on the final day, Australia collapsed to 111 all out, marking their fourth loss in seven Tests. Nathan Lyon was the top scorer with an unbeaten 33 as spinner Simon Harmer claimed 6 for 16.
The series loss dropped Australia to third on the World Test Championship table and cost them the No. 1 ICC Test ranking. Australia's batting lineup faces intense scrutiny, particularly Marnus Labuschagne, following consecutive poor performances across the tour. The team next plays limited-overs matches against England before hosting New Zealand in December.
