Nikita Kucherov’s Agent Already Has Team Lined Up [Report]

Edmonton Oilers insider Bob Stauffer reported that Dan Milstein, the agent for Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov, likely already has a specific trade destination lined up for his client. Milstein recently confirmed Kucherov will remain playing for the Lightning while his trade request situation is handled, but speculation continues to surround his preferred landing spots.

Stauffer hinted at potential connections to Edmonton and head coach Mike Babcock, while also noting that many Russian players favor New York teams like the Rangers or Islanders. However, writer Jim Parsons notes the Lightning have not granted permission to talk with other teams, and Kucherov only holds a 10-team trade list until reaching free agency.
