Winger Dakota Joshua has returned to the Toronto Maple Leafs lineup for Saturday's game against the Vancouver Canucks. After missing the start of the season due to injury, Joshua was activated from injured reserve following an AHL conditioning stint with the Toronto Marlies.
Defenseman Chris Tanev was also activated from injured reserve, while Anthony Stolarz was slated to start in goal. Writer Adam Martin notes that Joshua, who carries a $3.25 million salary, must perform well on the third line to secure his spot as other injured forwards near returns.
