Elly De La Cruz’s Luka Doncic trolling adds twist to Dodgers trade rumors

MLB insider Jim Bowden suggested on the "D-Mac and Reiter Show" that the Cincinnati Reds could consider trading star shortstop Elly De La Cruz to the Los Angeles Dodgers this offseason. Amid the trade speculation, Grant Young notes a potential clash for local supporters after De La Cruz posted social media clips celebrating a Golden State Warriors victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

De La Cruz shared footage of Stephen Curry crossing over Luka Dončić, highlighting his long-standing fandom for Curry. The 24-year-old Reds infielder produced a .283 batting average, 30 home runs, and 30 stolen bases last season, making him an attractive potential target for the Dodgers despite his open support for the Warriors over Los Angeles.
