Declan Rice is close to signing a new lucrative long-term contract with Arsenal after joining the club for a club-record £105million fee back in the summer of 2023…

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated it is only "a matter of time" before Declan Rice signs a new long-term contract extension. Speaking ahead of Arsenal's clash against Liverpool, Arteta emphasized that the midfielder is extremely happy at the club and desires to stay. Rice also voiced his contentment, highlighting his joy at the club following last year's Premier League title triumph.
The proposed permanent deal is expected to earn Rice up to £350,000 per week, matching Bukayo Saka's wages. Meanwhile, Rice is expected to start at Anfield on Sunday after recovering from hamstring tightness suffered during the 2-0 victory against Everton and training normally on Friday.
