Arsenal received a significant injury boost ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Liverpool with Noni Madueke, Riccardo Calafiori, and Christos Tzolis all traveling to Merseyside. While the trio's inclusion in the final matchday squad remains unconfirmed, their presence offers encouragement to manager Mikel Arteta. Madueke and Calafiori had both been dealing with minor fitness issues, while Tzolis returned after missing six matches due to a hamstring injury.
Arteta must still evaluate the trio's fitness before deciding if they can feature at Anfield. Arsenal remain without Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and the suspended Max Dowman. Following a Carabao Cup elimination against Fleetwood Town, the Gunners seek their first league victory at Anfield since September 2012 to strengthen their position atop the Premier League table.
